Caregiver - Evening Shift Caregiver
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver - Evening Shift Caregiver to join our team at SYNERGY HomeCare of Sioux Falls. As a member of our evening shift team, you will provide high-quality care to our clients in their homes, focusing on their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Responsibilities:
Provide personal care services to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and assistance with daily living activities
Assist clients with medication management, nutrition, and hydration
Encourage and support clients in their daily routines, including activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)
Promote independence, dignity, and respect for all clients
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
Report any changes or concerns to the nurse or supervisor
Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on best practices and industry developments
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in the healthcare industry, preferably as a caregiver or CNA (n/a)
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
