Job Details:

Structural Engineer

Design the Future. Build What Matters. Grow With a Team That Values Your Expertise.

Are you a Structural Engineer who wants more than just another set of calculations? Do you enjoy seeing your designs come to life while working alongside talented professionals who genuinely value collaboration, innovation, and quality?

We're partnering with a respected engineering consulting firm that has built its reputation on delivering customized engineering solutions—not cookie-cutter designs. Every project is approached with creativity, technical excellence, and a commitment to exceeding client expectations. If you're looking for a place where your ideas are heard, your career is supported, and your work makes a lasting impact, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for.

Located in Winter Haven, Florida, you'll enjoy the charm of Central Florida while working on a wide variety of commercial, industrial, municipal, and infrastructure projects that challenge and grow your engineering skills.

Why You'll Love This Opportunity

  • Join a well-established and growing engineering consulting firm with an outstanding reputation.
  • Work on diverse structural projects from concept through construction.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers, architects, and project managers.
  • Have a direct impact on projects that strengthen communities and businesses.
  • Enjoy a supportive culture that encourages professional growth and technical development.
  • Build your career with a company that values innovation, teamwork, and client relationships.

What You'll Do

As a Structural Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing safe, efficient, and innovative structural systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform structural analysis and engineering calculations
  • Design structural systems for buildings and infrastructure projects
  • Prepare construction documents, drawings, and CAD models
  • Review plans, specifications, and project requirements
  • Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and project managers
  • Respond to RFIs and provide construction phase engineering support
  • Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and engineering standards
  • Participate in client meetings and project coordination
  • Support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
  • EIT or PE license (or actively working toward licensure)
  • Experience performing structural analysis and design
  • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles
  • Experience using CAD and structural design software
  • Knowledge of applicable building codes and industry standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Consulting engineering experience is a plus
  • Construction knowledge is highly desirable

You'll Stand Out If You Have Experience With

  • Commercial buildings
  • Industrial facilities
  • Municipal projects
  • Steel, concrete, masonry, and wood design
  • Structural rehabilitation and renovations
  • Construction administration
  • Multidisciplinary engineering teams

Why Engineers Choose This Company

This isn't an environment where engineers simply produce drawings. You'll become a trusted technical resource working alongside professionals who appreciate collaboration, encourage new ideas, and take pride in delivering exceptional work. Leadership believes in investing in people, providing opportunities to expand your technical expertise while giving you the autonomy to solve challenging engineering problems.

If you're ready to join a company where your engineering talent is recognized, your career can grow, and every project offers a new challenge, we'd love to talk with you.

Apply today and help shape the structures that will stand for generations.
