About the Role
This hands-on role combines cloud infrastructure operations and DevOps automation. You will keep production systems reliable while driving infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible. The position will help establish an independent DevOps function and shape how Reprise builds and operates software.
What You’ll Own
Cloud Infrastructure and Operations

- Administer Ubuntu-based servers supporting Reprise’s SaaS services.
- Maintain website infrastructure and S3 integrations for software downloads and documentation.
- Provision and onboard new ISV environments with appropriate configuration, isolation, and security.
- Manage IAM, secrets, patching, vulnerability remediation, compliance controls, production access reviews, least privilege, and separation of duties.
- Support ISO 27001, SOC 2, customer and vendor assessments, and audit readiness.
- Design and manage backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and incident-response procedures; define recovery objectives and test DR/BCP plans.
- Improve system health, reliability, cost management, observability, metrics, logging, alerts, and dashboards.
- Assess failover, load balancing, single points of failure, and service-level objectives.
- Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and postmortems.
- Coordinate production changes and deployments with minimal customer impact.
- Communicate with customers when investigating critical hosted-solution incidents.
- Participate in on-call and off-hours support for production systems serving a global customer base.
DevOps and Automation
- Drive infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible.
- Manage and extend GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including cross-platform builds for Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Expand automated deployments and infrastructure-as-code coverage across environments.
- Build and maintain hardened, minimal machine images with disk encryption.
- Create and maintain DevOps standards, runbooks, and infrastructure documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, site reliability engineering, or a related role.
- Hands-on AWS experience with EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, Route 53, and CloudWatch.

- Infrastructure monitoring and observability experience.
- Experience implementing security best practices in cloud production environments.
- Experience supporting backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability systems.
