Title: Senior .NET Developer
Schedule: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
Experience: 12 years of experience, strong coding skills, and team leadership capabilities.
Position Summary We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure applications for our commercial clients. You will own features end to end - from architecture and implementation through testing and deployment - and serve as a technical anchor for the team, mentoring engineers and shaping engineering standards. This is a hybrid role combining onsite collaboration with remote flexibility.
What You'll Do Design and develop scalable web applications and APIs using C#, .NET (Core / 6/7/8), and ASP.NET.
Write clean, testable, well-documented code and lead code reviews to uphold engineering quality.
Architect and build RESTful services and integrations with internal and third-party systems.
Model and optimize relational and non-relational data solutions using SQL Server, Entity Framework, and related technologies.
Deploy and support cloud-native applications and CI/CD pipelines (Azure preferred; AWS a plus).
Collaborate with product owners, QA, and other developers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing technical guidance and career support.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance, security, and reliability concerns proactively across the application lifecycle.
Required Qualifications 12+ years of professional software development experience, with strong recent work in C# and .NET.
Deep expertise in ASP.NET Core / MVC and building RESTful Web APIs.
Strong proficiency with SQL Server and ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework.
Experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS) and a modern framework such as Angular, React, or Blazor.
Hands-on experience deploying to a cloud platform (Azure preferred) and using CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent).
Solid understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and secure coding practices.
Proficiency with Git and collaborative version-control workflows.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - or equivalent practical experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect).
Experience with microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and message-based architectures.
Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest) and test-driven development.
Exposure to low-code/no-code platforms (Power Platform, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Appian) or BI/analytics tools.
Prior consulting or client-facing delivery experience.
