Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Analyzes, conducts root cause analysis, and develops dispositions for production non-conformances.
Applies engineering principles to research technical, operational, and quality issues in support of executing final engineering solutions.
Identifies, documents, and analyzes reported problems and communicates deviations that could impact design intent and safety, and manages resolution.
Develops and implements product and process improvements.
Supports Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and participates in design reviews.
Represents the engineering community from initial build through production and post-production environment.
Analyzes damage repair or structural modification to determine appropriate jacking and shoring, prevent collateral damage, and assure a safe work environment.
Designs interim structural repairs, conducts static strength analysis, and develops non-destructive test procedures, tools, and standards.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Bachelor's or Master's of Science Degree from an ABET or ABET equivalent accredited course of study in Engineering.
9 or more years of experience in structures, systems, design, or production engineering.
Experience with structures, systems, design, or production engineering in an aerospace environment.
Ability to analyze production non-conformances and develop dispositions.
Experience applying engineering principles to resolve technical and operational issues.
Ability to develop and implement product and process improvements.
Experience supporting Integrated Product Teams and participating in design reviews.
Preferred: 9 or more years of experience working with MRB (Material Review Board) activities related to aircraft systems or structures.
Preferred: Prior BCA Engineering Material Review Board (MRB) certification.
