Alaskans for Mary is seeking a Deputy Press Secretary to join the communications team for the 2026 campaign cycle. The Deputy Press Secretary will take lead on drafting communications materials including press releases, talking points, and remarks. They will assist with the planning and execution of both virtual and in-person campaign press events, and they will assist with reporter outreach and response. They will assist with other communications duties as needed.
The ideal candidate will be a strong writer with great attention to detail and superior ability to multitask. Alaska ties and experience working with a campaign or in a political setting are a plus. This position will report to the Communications Director.
Location: This person will be expected to relocate to Anchorage, Alaska ASAP.
