Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack .NET/React)

Location: Memphis, TN (Onsite_ Local candidates preferred)

Schedule: Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm

Duration: 18 Months + Extensions (Long-term contract w/ no end date. Could possibly go perm if candidate desires)

Position Overview:

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale, transaction-heavy applications that process purchases, payments, user activity, and downstream business data. This role is responsible for building reliable, scalable full stack solutions while ensuring production stability across multiple interconnected systems.
• The ideal candidate is an accomplished full stack engineer with strong expertise in .NET, React, and SQL Server who understands how enterprise applications function end to end. Success in this role requires ownership beyond software development, including troubleshooting production issues, validating system integrations, improving application reliability, and contributing to ongoing modernization efforts.
• This position works across backend services, REST APIs, frontend applications, databases, and reporting pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, supportable solutions.
• The strongest candidates are senior full stack engineers who thrive in enterprise environments where application reliability, system integrations, and production support are just as important as writing code. They understand how complex systems interact, proactively identify risks, take ownership of technical solutions from development through deployment, and contribute to long-term platform stability and modernization.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET, C#, React, and SQL Server.
• Develop and support REST APIs and backend services that integrate with internal and external systems.
• Build responsive, maintainable front-end applications using React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Design and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, and data processing logic to ensure data accuracy and application performance.
• Troubleshoot production issues across application, API, database, and integration layers while driving issues through resolution.
• Analyze complex system dependencies and validate changes across upstream and downstream systems prior to deployment.
• Participate in modernization initiatives by improving legacy applications, enhancing scalability, and implementing development best practices.
• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, QA, and engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering standards.
• Help improve deployment reliability, development processes, and overall application stability.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience developing enterprise applications.
• Strong experience with .NET / C# application development.
• Strong experience building front-end applications using React.
• Strong SQL Server development experience, including database design, stored procedures, query optimization, and data troubleshooting.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and integrating distributed systems.
• Experience supporting production enterprise applications and resolving complex technical issues.
• Strong understanding of full stack application architecture and end-to-end system interactions.
• Experience working within Agile software development environments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with .NET Core.
• Experience with TypeScript, Redux, Next.js, or similar modern front-end technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
• Experience implementing or supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT, or enterprise authentication technologies.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications and improving application performance.
• Experience mentoring engineers or providing technical leadership.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and DevOps best practices.
