Designs, builds, and extracts large and complex data sets while considering strategic uses and interactions with data design. Documents and shares thought processes, code, and conclusions. Performs other duties as assigned. Serves as the organization-wide specialist on Data Science methods, including data mining, statistical analysis, processing, cleaning, verifying data, and modeling/prediction. Applies Data Science methods such as applied statistics, logistic regression, decision trees, and support vector machines to drive cost, revenue, and outcomes. Leverages Data Science programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL to mine and analyze data from enterprise data sources. Participates in Data Science projects on behalf of the Business Analytics & Data Science Director. Employs critical thinking and creative problem-solving to address barriers and escalates issues to leadership when appropriate. Prioritizes multiple projects, meets project deadlines, and manages multiple customer relationships. Communicates complex data or algorithms into simple conclusions that drive business improvement actions. Identifies and quantifies market opportunities, forecasts market behavior, and analyzes ways to maximize the use of current physical assets. Collaborates with other departments to identify and refine opportunities for data-driven features.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Pay Range:
