Dean Of Enrollment & Access

Shoreline College understands that equity, inclusion, and diversity are integral to excellence and success. We honor and celebrate diverse experiences and perspectives, strive to create welcoming environments and a deep sense of belonging, respectful learning environments, and promote access, opportunity, and justice. We are looking for equity-minded applicants who reflect and demonstrate cultural intelligence and understanding of the diverse communities that make the Seattle metro and Pacific Northwest a rich and vibrant place to live and work. When you join the team at Shoreline, you can expect to be part of an innovative and equity-focused community that approaches higher education as a matter of social justice built on broad collaboration among faculty, staff, students and community partners.

Shoreline College seeks a Dean of Enrollment & Access who provides visionary leadership to the planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive student support, services, and programming designed to enhance the student experience. The Dean of Enrollment & Access serves as Shoreline College's chief enrollment strategist and primary leader for all Strategic Enrollment Planning efforts. The Dean is accountable for developing, implementing, and assessing a comprehensive enrollment strategy that advances enrollment growth, student success, and equitable outcomes. Central to this work is the responsibility to identify, address, and eliminate systemic barriers that contribute to inequitable outcomes for BIPOC students and families and other historically underserved populations. The Dean ensures that all outreach, recruitment, admissions, enrollment, onboarding, financial aid, and access initiatives are guided by principles of equity, inclusion, belonging, and social justice. Additionally, the Dean will work collaboratively with internal and external partners and multiple college-wide initiatives to improve student success, retention, and completion.

This Dean should be able to identify and mitigate the barriers to success that many students face and be passionate about creating an equitable learning environment that supports success for all students.
