Server, Full-Time About the Role:

  • The Server provides prompt, efficient, and courteous service of food and beverages to residents and guests, ensuring all quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • This role also maintains the cleanliness and organization of the dining area while adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols, contributing to a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Order Management: Take food and beverage orders, relay them to kitchen staff, and deliver meals accurately and promptly to residents and guests.

Resident Interaction:

  • Respond to resident and guest requests in a timely manner and engage with diners to ensure satisfaction with food and service.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure beverages are properly prepared and orders meet quality standards, including temperature, appearance, and doneness.
  • Return items that do not meet expectations.

Community Concerns:

  • Address dining room issues or concerns and escalate to management when necessary.

Meal Preparation Support:

  • Assist with meal preparation and assembly under the direction of the Cook or Dining Services Manager, following standardized recipes and menu guidelines.

Food Safety & Storage:

  • Label and date food items appropriately, maintain proper storage, dispose of waste correctly, and follow all sanitation standards.

Dining Room Maintenance:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting tables, clearing dishes, and restocking supplies.

Temperature Logging:

  • Complete required temperature logs during each shift to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Order Handling:

  • Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing food and supply deliveries as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Experience:

  • Six (6) months to one (1) year of related experience or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications:

  • Must obtain and maintain any required local or state food handling, supervision, or sanitation certifications.
