Job description

CTE Partnership Specialist

This is an 8 hour per day, 260 days per year, Career-Technical Education Partnership Specialist position with benefits at the Sno-Isle TECH Skills Center for the 2026-2027 school year. Hours for this position are 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

The CTE Partnership Specialist provides support services, coordinates, and collaborates with the leadership team, staff, and community to promote and create Career Connected Opportunities for students that attend Sno-Isle TECH Skills Center to advance in their chosen career path. The CTE Partnership Specialist ensures the District's commitment to equity into all facets of planning, implementation, and engagement with students, staff, and the community. The CTE Partnership Specialist will also support school climate, safety, student achievement, and school improvement.

Performance Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Lead in the promotion of the CTE programs at Sno-Isle TECH Skills Center in the community.
  • Provide program support as directed by supervisors.
  • Aid with and/or facilitate building specific committees for the purpose of promoting the school, student achievement, and/or school improvement.
  • Assist with coordination of events that are hosted by Sno-Isle TECH.
  • Coordinate school events and business collaboration for the purpose of creating business relationships within the school.
  • Assist with the process and documentation of student placement in Career Connected Opportunities (internship, externship, practicums, paid and unpaid work experience, pre-apprentice, and apprenticeship) based on best chance of student success from their desired program.
  • Communicate, collaborate, and engage parents, school community, and businesses for the purpose of fostering student and school success.
  • Assist with data collection for grants and school initiatives.
  • Maintain detailed records as well as prepare and disseminate reports and student related information.
  • Participate in various meetings for the purpose of implementing and creation of Career Connected Opportunities.
  • Assist with data entry for CTE Program Specific Framework development/renewal and State/District level Core Credit Equivalency work.
  • Implement and comply with District policies and the Code of Professional Conduct.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and conform to regular work hours specified under contract.
  • Assist in creating a school culture that promotes the ongoing, culturally relevant improvement of teaching and learning for students and staff with a focus on equity.
  • Interact professionally with students, staff, and community.
  • Complete MOU's and contract agreements with internship/externship partners and Sno-Isle TECH.
  • Perform other related job duties as assigned by supervisor(s).

Job Requirements; Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of high school curriculum (9-12) and graduation requirements.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data using various technology tools and programs.
  • Knowledge and understanding of comprehensive high school philosophy.
  • Ability to effectively address a wide range of academic and social needs including at-risk, cultural diversity, English language learners, and special education students and student with 504s.
  • Knowledge of rules and regulations governing schools and Skill Centers.
  • Skills and ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with diverse people, including racially, ethnically, and socioeconomically diverse communities.
  • Knowledge or and ability to use data-driven best practices.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Skills in and ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Skills and abilities in organization, time management, and record keeping.
  • Ability to interact positively and effectively with parents, students, staff, employers, and administrators.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to strengthen job-related competencies.
  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret rules and regulations governing the operation of a school.
  • Skills in effective decision making, problem solving and group facilitation.
  • Skills in resolving conflict, addressing issues, and grievances.

  • Ability to utilize district and community resources to meet student and program needs.

Education:

  • Current First Aid/CPR card or ability to obtain.
  • AA degree in a related field with previous career experience related to the position.

Experience:

  • Experience developing and leading school-wide student Career Connected Opportunities.
  • Proficiency using technology tools and programs to collect and analyze data related to school functions.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Prior teaching and/or supervisory experience.
  • BA or higher educational degree related to the job description.
  • Work with contractual language and risk-management pools to develop safe and equitable opportunities.
  • Second language or language acquisition background or abilities.
  • Student cultural and economic diversity experience.
  • Experience working directly with people from diverse cultural, racial, ethnic, gender, sexual orientation, ability, and socioeconomic backgrounds, preferred.
  • Large event coordination.
