Talent Acquisition Specialist
Our client, a health insurance company, is looking for a Specialist, Talent Acquisition for their Baltimore, MD/Hybrid location. Responsibilities include developing recruitment and communication strategies to enhance the recruiting experience for prospective candidates and hiring managers, coordinating with the implementation of strategies for recruiting diverse talent, working closely with hiring managers, building trust and credibility as an advisor in the selection process, evaluating recruiting pool to identify future sourcing needs and implementing proactive recruiting strategies to build candidate pipelines for future vacancies, proactively sourcing and networking with potential candidates in the marketplace, assisting in the organizing and logistics of recruitment and marketing events, representing CareFirst internally and externally at events, job fairs, college recruitment functions with a goal of networking/relationship building with potential candidates and community outreach programs in order to establish and maintain an organizational presence in the community, ensuring recruitment practices are compliant with employment laws, and assisting Talent Acquisition Leadership with development and implementation of specific projects.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent work experience, 3 years full life-cycle HR/agency recruitment experience in a high volume environment supporting mid to senior level roles, experience with LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter, exceptional problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills, experience in proactively sourcing qualified candidates, and in lieu of education, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience. Preferred qualifications include experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) (e.g., ADP, Taleo, Greenhouse), ability to navigate on social media to source for qualified candidates, willingness and passion for sourcing, networking, and attracting candidates from various channels, experience in developing creative approaches to attract diverse candidates, ability to influence others and build strong internal relationships, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, ability to speak on behalf of the organization and represent the business, and the incumbent is required to immediately disclose any debarment, exclusion, or other event that makes them ineligible to perform work directly or indirectly on client care programs. Must be able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities, deadlines, and workloads that can be variable for long periods of time, meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence, effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging, and possess Human Resources/PHR or SHRM-CP Pref. Top 5 required skills include experience recruiting within a healthcare, health insurance, managed care, or hospital environment, demonstrated full-cycle recruiting experience, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and closing candidates, strong sourcing experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms to identify passive talent, experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines and ensure accurate recruiting documentation, and excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and candidates while managing multiple competing priorities.
