About the work: Most project managers run work inside a big company's system. At ECI, the job is different. We work on hydroelectric dams, tunnels, and underground and geotechnical projects that most contractors won't take on, and our project managers own the whole job: the schedule, the budget, and the owner relationship. There are no layers between you and the decision. If you have been running work inside a larger contractor and want a job where the project is actually yours, this is that job.
What you'll do:
Travel Our projects are long-term assignments across the Midwest, often away from home. Project related travel is typically 25-50%. ECI offers competitive traveler benefits for projects away from our Oakdale office.
What we're looking for:
A plus, not a requirement: dam, hydro, tunnel, or geotechnical project exposure; EIT certification; survey or layout experience; an internship with a heavy civil or underground contractor.
