Position Summary
The Trauma Program Coordinator provides facilitation and direction for a multidisciplinary trauma service for an assigned Trauma Center. The incumbent works with the AVP for Trauma Services implements and monitors systems to enhance care of trauma patients receiving services; serves as a resource for inter-intra disciplinary team members and patient families that participate in the care of trauma patients; develops and applies standards and research to enhance quality of patient care; implements and evaluates performance improvement; develops effective working relationships with all system providers and management; supervises assigned staff and participates in the development and monitoring of the assigned budget. Plan and evaluate injury prevention initiatives using data, while collaborating with partners to deliver community education, outreach, and trauma awareness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (required)/Master degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL)
- BLS BLS - Basic Life Support (includes RQI) - American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or Emergency Nursing Pediatrics Course (ENPC) certification
- Specialty Certification in one or more of the following: Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN), Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), or a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) preferred
- Minimum five (5) years of professional/technical nursing experience required; preferably in an emergency or critical care nursing unit, with at least six months experience in trauma nursing
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $145,808.00 - $205,545.60 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
