Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Database Testing/QA, or related roles.
Strong expertise in SQL, T-SQL, and Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases using Python and SQL.
Validate data pipelines, database changes, ETL processes, and deployment scripts.
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and defect tracking to ensure data integrity.
Analyze test results and collaborate with Data Engineers to resolve issues.
Validate database objects including tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
Develop and refine test scenarios aligned with business requirements and data transformations.
Ensure adherence to data quality standards, testing best practices, and deployment processes.

Technical Skills

Strong SQL/T-SQL for data validation and database testing.
Python scripting for test automation.
Experience testing database objects, ETL pipelines, and data validation processes.
Knowledge of test case design, execution, and defect management.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Data Engineering or ETL workflows.
Exposure to automation testing frameworks.
Experience with Git or other version control systems.
Understanding of Data Warehouse concepts.
