Project Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee a diverse range of projects including EV charging infrastructure, backup generator installations, commercial interior renovations, and utility-related capital projects. The ideal candidate will establish clear project objectives and goals, define project scope, and minimize risks by assessing site conditions and material availability. The Project Manager will act as an owner's representative and play a critical role in project success.
Responsibilities
- Establish clear project objectives and goals.
- Define project scope and assess site conditions and material availability to minimize risks.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide time and cost recommendations.
- Identify, select, and communicate effectively with designers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Review bids and negotiate contracts.
- Create and manage project schedules.
Essential Skills
- Experience in project management and construction management.
- Ability to act as an owner's representative.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with commercial interior renovations and utility projects.
- Ability to work within regulated environments.
- Skills in construction, forecasting, project coordination, change order management, and request for information (RFI) processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working on projects valued at $1 million or more.
- PMP Certification is a plus.
- Five years of experience as a Project Manager acting as an owner's representative on construction projects, preferably in power generation or commercial construction.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warrenville, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $60.00/hr.
