Your Role with the Company
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll lead the development of sophisticated digital hardware platforms supporting advanced avionics and aircraft electronics. You'll drive projects from architecture and schematic capture through prototype bring-up, verification, manufacturing release, and sustaining improvements.
Working closely with FPGA, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams, you'll develop high-performance digital and mixed-signal circuit designs while mentoring junior engineers and helping shape future product architectures. This position offers significant technical autonomy, allowing you to influence engineering decisions, evaluate emerging technologies, and solve complex hardware challenges throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Background Profile
Must Have
-
BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
-
Expertise in digital hardware design, schematic capture, and PCB development
-
Senior-level experience designing digital and mixed-signal electronic systems
-
Strong knowledge of microprocessor, microcontroller, DSP, and embedded hardware architectures
-
Experience with schematic capture and component library development using OrCAD, Allegro, Altium, or similar ECAD platforms
-
Strong understanding of communication interfaces including Ethernet, SPI, I²C, UART, and related protocols
-
Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, debugging, validation, and troubleshooting using laboratory equipment
-
Experience researching datasheets, component specifications, and technical documentation to develop robust hardware solutions
-
Ability to independently manage multiple hardware development projects from concept through manufacturing
-
Strong cross-functional collaboration with mechanical, FPGA, software, and manufacturing engineering teams
Desired -
Embedded software development experience using C, Assembly, or similar languages

Experience with circuit simulation tools including LTspice, PSpice, or equivalent
-
Knowledge of RTCA DO-160G or other aerospace environmental qualification standards

Experience with FPGA or ASIC-based hardware development, including familiarity with Xilinx devices and toolchains

Experience designing products for aerospace, avionics, defense, or other high-reliability industries

Previous mentoring or technical leadership experience

Experience supporting products from prototype through production manufacturing

Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM), verification, validation, and sustaining engineering practices
