We're looking for a detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Closer who is passionate about delivering an exceptional closing experience. In this role, you'll work closely with loan officers, escrow companies, and internal partners to ensure loans are completed accurately, compliantly, and on schedule. This position is in-office at our HSFCU Headquarters in Downtown Honolulu.

Base Annual Salary Range: $46,600 - $58,695 per year The posted range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position, with final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.

Essential Duties:

• Manage closing pipeline and workflow to ensure timely preparation of closing documents and loan funding while meeting established deadlines.
• Prepare closing documents including Closing Disclosures and closing packages with a high degree of accuracy.
• Review loan files for funding readiness by confirming underwriting conditions are cleared and required documentation is complete.
• Coordinate closings with loan officers, escrow, title companies, and internal partners to ensure timely signing, funding, and recording.
• Fund mortgage loans and balance closing figures by verifying fees, disbursements, and funding amounts prior to wire or check release.
• Maintain regulatory and quality standards by auditing files, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with company, federal, and state requirements.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience in mortgage lending, or related fields.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail, highly organized, and ability to work under strict deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly, both verbally and electronically, with team members.
• Competent in using mortgage-related software and other computer applications.
