Fire Sprinkler Apprentice
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to continue building a career in the fire protection industry. Working alongside experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitters and Service Technicians, you will gain hands-on experience while assisting with the installation, inspection, service, and repair of commercial fire sprinkler systems.

Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of commercial fire sprinkler systems.
- Support experienced technicians and fitters with inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications under supervision.
- Measure, cut, thread, and assemble sprinkler piping.
- Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Complete daily work reports and other required documentation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Some hands-on experience or exposure to commercial fire sprinkler systems is required.
- Previous experience in construction, plumbing, pipefitting, HVAC, or another mechanical trade is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
- Trade school or vocational training
- Fire sprinkler apprentice experience
- Interest in obtaining NICET certification and advancing within the fire protection industry
