Enjoy a 40-hour workweek, partial remote work flexibility, outstanding benefits including a pension, and the opportunity to build a long-term career with an employer known for its exceptionally high employee retention.

If you're an early-career Civil or Mechanical Engineer who enjoys managing projects from concept through construction and wants to make a lasting impact on critical infrastructure, this is an outstanding opportunity. You'll work alongside experienced professionals while gaining valuable project management experience and developing the skills needed for long-term career growth. Also open to Project Engineers with P.E. license.

Position offers great salary: $85 - $130 (higher salary with P.E. license); amazing benefits including pension and partial remote work options.

Highlighted Duties:

  • Design, plan, and manage piping and water flow infrastructure improvement projects from initial concept through construction.
  • Prepare and develop piping models to verify compliance requirements
  • Review submittals and prepare layouts, contracts, and other engineering designs.
  • Coordinate extension and relocation projects while ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, specifications, and cost estimates for capital improvement projects.
  • Manage projects during construction, monitor progress, and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Coordinate with operations, maintenance, utilities, contractors, government agencies, developers, and consultants to ensure successful project execution.
  • Prepare technical specifications, engineering reports, and contract documents.
  • Provide technical support and resolve engineering, construction, and customer issues efficiently.
  • Continue professional development through training, seminars, and industry organizations.

Highlighted Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineer
  • One year of experience with water line or piping design, installation, inspection, civil engineering, utility infrastructure, or construction projects
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred or ability to obtain within two years of hire.
  • Experience developing and executing piping models is preferred.
  • Ability to read engineering plans, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.

If you're looking for a stable employer where you can grow your engineering career, gain valuable project management experience, and enjoy an outstanding quality of life, we'd love to hear from you.
