Job Title: AI & Platform Software Engineer
Location: Remote within the USA, or onsite in Buffalo, NY / Wilmington, DE (client preference for candidates near these areas). New hires are required to work onsite at the client's office for the first 2–3 weeks (treated as a business trip; travel expenses covered by the company).

Project Description
A leading financial services client is building its enterprise GenAI capability across two closely partnered organizations: GenAI Platform & Enablement (a governed AI gateway on Azure API Management, model access via Azure AI Foundry with a deliberately venue-agnostic design, model integrations, retrieval services, environments, and observability) and Developer Experience (SDLC automation and tooling, quality engineering and test data management, and site reliability engineering). Because the engineering foundations overlap heavily, all Software Engineer III openings across both organizations are filled through this single posting — candidates are evaluated once against a common engineering bar, then routed to the track and team where their depth fits best. Every seat is hands-on: engineers design, build, test, document, and operate; contractor seats (18 months, extension possible, contract-to-hire in intent) carry front-loaded build work with capability transfer built in.
