Entry-Level Life Insurance Sales Representative – Remote
Location: Augusta, GA — Remote within Georgia
Employment Type: Independent Contractor, 1099

Position Overview
We are seeking motivated, coachable individuals in the Georgia area to begin a career in remote life insurance sales. As an Entry-Level Life Insurance Sales Representative, you will meet with individuals and families virtually, explain available coverage options, identify their needs, and assist them with the enrollment process.
Previous insurance or sales experience is not required. We provide structured training, coaching, and ongoing support. Candidates who are not currently licensed must be willing and eligible to obtain a Georgia life insurance license before conducting insurance business.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual client appointments through Zoom.
- Contact and follow up with individuals who have requested benefit information.
- Explain life insurance and supplemental benefit options clearly.
- Ask questions to understand each household's financial protection needs.
- Recommend suitable coverage based on the client's goals and budget.
- Complete electronic applications accurately.
- Maintain professional communication and organized follow-up.
- Participate in virtual training, coaching, and team meetings.
- Follow company procedures and Georgia insurance regulations.
Qualifications
- Must reside in Georgia and be able to work remotely.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Georgia life insurance license.
- Strong communication, listening, and customer-service skills.
- Comfortable speaking with clients by phone and video.
- Self-motivated and able to follow a structured sales process.
- Reliable internet connection, computer, phone, and quiet workspace.
- Sales, customer service, leadership, or insurance experience is helpful but not required.
Licensing and Training
Unlicensed candidates must complete the required Georgia licensing process before beginning insurance sales activities. Licensing expenses are the candidate's responsibility. Training, mentorship, and professional development are provided, but training is not paid.
Compensation and Work Structure
This is a 1099 independent-contractor opportunity. Compensation is earned through commissions and performance-based bonuses. There is no guaranteed salary, hourly wage, paid training, or traditional employee benefits.
