Job Title: Audit Analyst
Department: Audit Services

Overview:

SymphonyAI Media is the preeminent leader in Audit and Revenue Management Services for the media industry, auditing billions of dollars annually in license fees, retransmission consent fees, subscriber fees, and royalty payments for major media companies in the Fortune 500 globally.


SymphonyAI Media is seeking a results-driven, highly motivated Audit Analyst to join our Audit Services team. This role involves analyzing data, reviewing content distribution contracts, and presenting detailed audit findings to clients. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial analysis or auditing, particularly within the media industry.


Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Independently analyze data to identify trends, variances, and inconsistencies.
  • Review and analyze cable billing reports containing large volumes of cable/satellite/IPTV/digital distribution subscriber and revenue data.
  • Complete complex audit report packages using specialized internal software and analytical tools, and present findings to our clientele (content owners).
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis of multiple revenue streams and subscriber systems.

Contract Review & Compliance

  • Review and analyze content distribution contracts for compliance, audit variances, and areas of risk.
  • Provide detailed and sustainable recommendations to our clients based on contract analysis.

Team Collaboration & Audit Process

  • Work with a team of auditors throughout all phases of the audit process, including fieldwork, post-fieldwork, contract compliance, and report processing.
  • Manage competing timelines for multiple high-value media clients.

Communication & Documentation

  • Maintain excellent communication skills and interact confidently with internal teams and industry-leading entertainment partners.
  • Develop strong business writing skills to convey findings effectively in audit reports and recommendations to clients.

Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS degree in a business discipline, preferably with an accounting or finance emphasis.
  • 1 to 2 years of financial analysis or audit experience preferred.

  • Salary range: $70,000 - $80,000, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
