Google's infrastructure needs go far beyond server computers. As Google's products and services scale the globe, the Strategic Negotiation team works behind the scenes to secure infrastructure for Google's future -- everything from underwater cables to physical data center space. As a Strategic Negotiator, you combine your deep market knowledge of a given sector with tech industry savvy to negotiate cost-effective solutions to support Google's infrastructure growth. You'll work with specific project teams on negotiating deals, managing vendor and partner relationships and presenting deal recommendations to our Tech leadership. Your successful negotiations have the potential to save Google millions of dollars in operating costs and impact every part of the business.
The Infrastructure Construction and Asset Management (ICAM) team is responsible for overseeing Google's off-site infrastructure, inventory land development, and leased and owned data center assets. This includes construction and delivery of off-site infrastructure projects, administration and management of leased obligations, land development, and management of inventory properties. As a Strategic Negotiator and Portfolio Manager, you will work with the land acquisition team and cross-functional project teams to ensure that owned land assets complete all required pre-data center construction development activities to meet requirements of the asset supply plan Of record (APOR) for data center capacity delivery. This includes delivering sites at the time, cost, capacity, and with the characteristics as required, ensuring the ability to construct reliable, scalable, cost-effective data center capacity. Portfolio Managers serve as the main site leads post-site acquisition through end of life for relevant site activities, maintaining and facilitating internal and external relationships necessary for continued development and operational success.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $176000 - $256000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
