Job description

Are you ready to help shape how finance processes operate across a complex and evolving business environment? We are seeking a Senior Finance Business Process Analyst to support the transformation and continuous improvement of finance processes across North America. In this role, you will partner with Finance, Accounting, Data, and Digital teams to understand, document, and improve end-to-end finance processes and data flows that support financial reporting, forecasting, governance, and operational decision-making. As Schneider Electric continues to evolve its finance landscape through programs such as Titan, Convergence, and OneServices, you will play a key role in identifying root causes of process, control, and data challenges, strengthening governance frameworks, improving financial data quality, and driving alignment across diverse stakeholder groups. You will work closely with business leaders and subject matter experts to map end-to-end finance processes, establish accountability and control structures, and implement sustainable improvements that support effective reporting and business decision-making. This role is well suited for someone with strong finance process expertise, experience working across functions, and a proven ability to analyze complex business challenges and drive process improvements in a collaborative environment. What you'll be doing * Analyze and improve end-to-end finance processes by identifying process inefficiencies, governance and control gaps, and data quality issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing sustainable solutions in partnership with key stakeholders. * Lead the documentation and mapping of finance processes and related data flows, developing current and future-state process maps, business rules, and operating procedures that enhance transparency, consistency, and accountability. * Establish and strengthen governance frameworks by defining process ownership, decision rights, accountability models, escalation paths, and monitoring controls to support effective and compliant process execution. * Leverage data analysis, reporting insights, and performance metrics to identify risks, assess process and control effectiveness, monitor process health, and uncover opportunities for continuous improvement. * Partner with Finance, Accounting, Process Owners, and Digital/IT teams to facilitate discussions, gather requirements, evaluate solution options, and drive alignment on process improvements that support business and reporting objectives. What you bring * Experience analyzing, documenting, and improving end-to-end business or finance processes, including process mapping, workflow design, and the implementation of sustainable process improvements. * Broad finance experience across areas such as financial reporting, management reporting, accounting, forecasting, budgeting, commercial finance, or related disciplines. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and translate complex business challenges into practical solutions. * Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions and build alignment across cross-functional teams and varying levels of leadership. * Solid understanding of governance frameworks, process ownership models, internal controls, and continuous improvement principles within a finance environment. * Experience working with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA within finance-related processes. * Familiarity with analytical and reporting tools such as SQL, Tableau, Databricks, or similar technologies used to support process analysis, reporting, and decision-making. We recognize that skills and competencies can be developed through a variety of experiences, both professional and personal.
