Salary: $97,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are seeking a mission-driven, collaborative professional who is motivated to develop advanced solutions that support national and global security.
• You must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET security clearance; an existing clearance is preferred.
• For the Engineer Level 3 role, we require a bachelors degree in engineering or a related technical field plus 7+ years of relevant experience, or a masters degree plus 4+ years of relevant experience.
• You should have proficiency with Task Automated Operations (TAO), Trusted Autonomous Satellite Operations (TASO), or autonomous satellite operations scripting to support automated satellite control procedures.
• You need experience working in an agile systems development environment and performing systems engineering tasks across a complex program with multiple development, engineering, and testing teams.
• You must be able to diagnose and resolve complex issues, determine workarounds, and implement and document corrective actions across multiple systems and components.
• Strong organizational skills are required, along with the ability to coordinate multiple demonstration events simultaneously.
• Preferred experience includes structured and object-oriented programming languages such as C, C#, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with modern IT infrastructure, including virtualization, cloud deployment, and containerization, is preferred.
• Experience with DoD communications systems and subsystems such as C2ISR platforms, SATCOM, and data links is desirable.
• Experience with the Satellite Control Network (SCN) and Wideband SATCOM command and control systems, products, and interfaces is a plus.
• Experience with the EPOCH Product Suite and OASYS is an advantage.
• Experience working on an Agile/Scrum team and using tools such as Jira and Confluence is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with other engineering disciplines, including systems, hardware, test, configuration management, and quality engineering, is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• We design, develop, implement, integrate, and document technical products within the CCS-C system.
• We develop mission-critical automation scripts using Task Automated Operations (TAO) to streamline satellite command and control workflows, enable autonomous telemetry procedures, reduce manual operator input, and improve resiliency in DoD space operations.
• We collaborate with system developers, testers, and on-site user support personnel to support system updates, investigate and resolve issues, and help ensure project goals are achieved.
• We provide technical guidance and present architecture and solution options to customers.
• We participate in and support highly technical engineering team meetings.
• We contribute to Data Products Development, including APIs, databases, human-machine interfaces, and simulations.
