Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Description:

• Ensure the integrity, consistency, and scalability of FuturePlan’s data and reporting
• Provide insightful analysis to support executive leadership decision making
• Design and develop reporting tools and dashboards
• Interpret data, analyze results, and evaluate and improve business processes
• Align tactical and strategic priorities with leadership initiatives
• Support FuturePlan Leadership team goals through management, customization, development, implementation, and training related to business processes, reporting, analysis, and tools
• Protect, secure, and properly handle confidential Ascensus data
• Produce analysis from large raw data sets to support tactical and strategic departmental objectives and partnership decisions
• Communicate analysis and key findings to leaders
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify, prioritize, and validate project requirements and business objectives
• Understand incentive compensation plans and process monthly incentive compensation
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis based on business needs
• Establish and maintain data governance processes and strategies
• Report data using SiSense, Excel, Power BI, or other tools in an Enterprise Data Warehouse environment
• Monitor and correct data quality within related databases
• Evaluate ways to improve processes and streamline data delivery

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 5 years of analyst experience with data analysis or support, financial analysis, econometrics, or statistics
• Strong Excel skills
• Basic knowledge of SQL and working with tables, views, and queries
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to analyze large volumes of raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
• Intellectual curiosity, creative problem-solving, and critical thinking
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to balance multiple time-sensitive priorities and adapt to changing business needs while meeting deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to interact with and present to directors and VPs
• Ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships
• Self-starter able to work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• CRM and Power BI or business intelligence tool experience
• For virtual remote positions, an uninterrupted workspace during business hours
• For virtual remote positions, internet work speed of 25 Mbps or better
