School-Based Nursing Assistant Paraprofessional
Position Summary:
This one-year contract position for the school year is an ideal opportunity for healthcare-focused professionals who have recently completed their bachelor’s degree and hold a CNA certification. Whether you are preparing to apply to graduate programs, gaining additional hands-on experience, or exploring different healthcare pathways, this role provides valuable experience working directly with students in a school-based healthcare environment.
As a School-Based Nursing Assistant Paraprofessional, you will support students with medical, developmental, and educational needs while collaborating with teachers, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams. This position allows you to build experience in pediatric care, patient support, special education, and healthcare coordination.
This role is a strong fit for individuals considering future graduate or professional programs such as Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), BSN-to-RN pathways, Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), Physician Assistant (PA), Public Health, or other allied health programs.
