Hasbro Children’s / Brown University Health is seeking a child and adolescent psychiatrist to join the nationally recognized Selya 6 Inpatient Med-Psych Program, a unique collaboration between the Division of Child Psychiatry and Human Behavior and the Department of Pediatrics. This 16-bed unit provides family-based, intensive, interdisciplinary care for complex patients with psychiatric/psychological conditions and co-occurring medical presentations that result in functional impairment.

The hospital offers a broad spectrum of both routine care and specialty programs not available elsewhere. Hasbro Children’s has the only pediatric emergency department, Level 1 trauma center, pediatric critical care teams and 24-hour ambulance in the region. It is a private, not-for-profit institution, the pediatric division of Rhode Island Hospital, the principal teaching hospital of The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
