Job Title: Endoscopy Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: GI/Endoscopy Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active state license required Certifications: BLS, SGNA, CER required Must-Have: - EPIC and Provation experience required - Experience with specific endoscopic procedures - Background in infection control Description: This is a cross-posting for the open Endoscopy Technician position. The role involves assisting with a variety of endoscopic procedures including biopsies, colonoscopies, and EGD. Candidates are expected to have experience with endoscopic instruments such as balloon dilators and electrosurgical units. Infection control practices must be adhered to at all times. Daily responsibilities may include restocking supplies, processing instruments, and maintaining room readiness. There will be no on-call or weekend shifts required for this position. Candidates must be prepared to float within their scope of practice as needed. Pre-approved time off may be granted as needed. All candidates must have the necessary certifications upon submission. Background checks will be conducted to ensure compliance with all standards. Candidates should expect to work with a patient demographic primarily consisting of adults and geriatrics.
