Responsibilities/Expectations:

Provide strategic and tactical leadership for engineering teams, projects, and business initiatives.

• Lead engineering support for capital projects, facility improvements, and operational initiatives.
• Develop engineering design strategies, project scopes, cost estimates, and resource plans.
• Oversee engineering work performed by internal teams and third-party engineering firms to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage engineering resources, budgets, forecasts, and project performance.
• Drive workforce planning, employee development, succession planning, and team engagement.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with operations, project management, technical services, contractors, and other business stakeholders.
• Serve as a technical leader, subject matter expert, and change agent supporting critical business initiatives.
• Develop strategies for leveraging internal and external engineering resources to meet evolving business needs.
• Ensure all work is executed in accordance with company standards, engineering practices, safety requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Years of Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of engineering, operations, project execution, or related experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience leading projects, engineering teams, or major initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification
• Experience leading engineering design and project execution activities for capital projects.
• Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM), Management of Change (MOC), engineering standards, and document management systems.
• Experience managing external engineering consultants and contractor resources.
