What You'll Do
HR Operations & Employee Support
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees and leaders on payroll, benefits, policies, and HR processes.
- Administer payroll and employee benefits while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain employee records and support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Assist managers with employee relations, coaching, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Lead full-cycle recruiting and partner with hiring managers to attract top talent.
- Coordinate and enhance the onboarding experience for new employees.
- Support and expand the company's internship program.
- Represent the company at career fairs and develop relationships with local high schools, technical colleges, and universities.
HR Programs & Continuous Improvement
- Partner with HR leadership to develop and implement employee engagement, retention, performance management, and development initiatives.
- Lead projects from planning through execution while driving communication and adoption.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and create efficiencies.
- Use employee feedback and data to recommend new ideas and improvements.
Culture & Employee Engagement
- Help foster a positive workplace culture through employee recognition, wellness initiatives, engagement activities, and company events.
- Support programs that reinforce our core values and create an exceptional employee experience.
Compliance & Administrative Support
- Ensure HR practices comply with employment laws and company policies.
- Assist with HR audits, mandatory reporting, and safety initiatives.
- Support general office administration, company events, supply ordering, and special projects as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of Human Resources experience.
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, and payroll.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices; multi-state experience is a plus.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar certification preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel; experience with UKG is a plus.
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Ability to travel occasionally to branch locations and recruiting events.
