Our Estimators are responsible for developing preconstruction estimates for a variety of projects. They work closely with our Clients and internal preconstruction staff to complete conceptual and detailed estimates. It is the responsibility of our Estimators to provide accurate estimates, create value for our Clients and provide realistic estimates while maintaining the quality and detail that our Clients desire. We are currently seeking a Construction Estimator who desires an exciting and challenging environment in Construction Management. Immediate openings are available in our suburban Toledo, Ohio headquarters. Qualified applicants must be able to work at this location. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities include creating and developing labor and material take-offs, seeking competitive pricing from subcontractors and materials providers, determining pricing, both internal and rough estimates based on subcontractor input, assembling bids and creating rough and firm estimates based on project deliverables, conducting and preparing job site assessments, obtaining required permitting and documentation, presentation of estimates to clients, and turning over job to construction operations team.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree (Construction Management/Civil Engineering/Construction Engineering Technology preferred), 1+ years of experience estimating in the construction management industry, good understanding of construction materials and processes, and experience with On-Screen Takeoff, MS Project, and Timberline preferred.
