OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT
Job Summary:

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to our residents. With a competitive salary range of $33 - $37 HOURLY, excellent rates, and flexible schedules, we offer a unique opportunity to grow professionally while making a difference in the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
Screen residents as appropriate by practice acts, including history, systems review, applications of appropriate tests and measures, and implement precautions from the plan of care.
Provide treatment to residents following the plan of care, working towards the treatment goal in collaboration with the resident and caregivers.
Complete all related documentation required for those services.
Supervise temporary licensees, students, and support staff in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.
Attend and contribute to resident care, staff conferences, and other related meetings.
Consult with and make referrals to other disciplines, agencies, and healthcare providers to address the comprehensive needs of our residents.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assisting program
Must have a valid FLORIDA professional license by discipline
Prefer at least one year experience in LTC, but qualified new grads will be considered
Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
Passionate about post-acute rehabilitation and the older adult population
Ability to relate and interact positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, family, professional, and facility staff
