Interventional Radiology Technologist
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the general supervision of the Urologist, the Radiology Technologist provides technical support and assistance to the physician during procedures. The RT uses clinical knowledge, technical skills, and professional judgement in accordance with professional and departmental standards and protocols.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
· Associate degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology.
· Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Radiology Technician (RTT) required.
· Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
· Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND HAZARDS:
Clinical setting. Exposure Class I.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Medium work: standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling.
