Operations Training and Stan Eval Specialist (B-52) Barksdale

Job Summary This position maintains aircrew training and standardization/evaluation records for a B-52H squadron.
• The work covers currencies, upgrade progression, gradebooks and evaluation documentation across a large aircrew population, and requires accuracy under recurring review.
• Responsibilities and Duties • Review and update student and permanent party records, folders and gradebooks per AFI 11-202V1, AFI 11-2MDS-V1, MAJCOM and installation supplements, and local guidance. • Produce the monthly Aircrew Qualification Level Summary (Letter of Xs) and provide in-work and final copies to Wing Current Operations and Wing Stan Eval no later than the last day of each month. • Update PEX and locally developed database systems as required. • Interface with Aviation Resource Management personnel to update the Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS). • Perform weekly individual gradebook checks of training and ancillary training requirements. • Administer classes and exams, and coordinate with scheduling for Crew Resource Management, Instructor CRM, Instrument Refresher Course and pre-deployment training requirements. • Provide daily tracking of upgrade and continuation training to the operations supervisor, and weekly readiness summaries to squadron and group leadership. • Prepare periodic training and testing plans for approval and scheduling. • Generate AF Form 4324 worksheets, training aids, monthly and quarterly Ready Aircrew Program reports, and monthly aircrew probation and regression summaries. • Assist in the development of new curriculum and syllabi for aircrew and ground training. • Coordinate with the scheduling office to maximize training opportunities consistent with unit guidance and applicable AFIs Qualifications and Skills MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Active SECRET clearance, or a previously held SECRET clearance that expired and was not revoked. • Minimum two (2) years of experience with PEX or a similar proprietary scheduling program. • Minimum two (2) years of experience with Microsoft Access, Excel and SharePoint. • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a squadron, group and/or wing training and/or stan eval shop — OR — three (3) years in a DoD flying squadron, group and/or wing equivalent training and/or stan eval office.
• QUALIFICATION WAIVERS The Government may waive specific qualifications on a case-by-case basis where a candidate has the knowledge and skills to support the mission.
• Aircrew scheduling experience on a system other than PEX, and training or stan eval experience from another service, are examples.

• CLEARANCE AND CITIZENSHIP • U.S. citizenship is required. • Active SECRET security clearance, or a previously held SECRET clearance that expired and was not revoked. • Eligibility for access to Restricted Data. • Work is performed at the SECRET level.
• POSITION DETAILS • On site at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana.
• This is not a remote or hybrid position. • Full time.
• Core working hours are 1,880 hours per year across 47 weeks, normally eight hours per day, five days per week, as determined by the Contracting Officer's Representative. • Duty hours may shift during exercise support and around holidays but will not exceed nine hours in a day.
• Changes are coordinated 48 hours in advance. • Federal holidays are observed, along with AFGSC Family Days. • Four Aircrew Scheduler and three Operations Training and Stan Eval positions are anticipated at this installation. • Anticipated start on or about 26 September 2026, with all positions filled by 26 October 2026. • Compensation is negotiable and commensurate with experience.

• LOCATION Barksdale AFB is located in Bossier City, Louisiana, adjacent to Shreveport.
