We are seeking an experienced Technician III, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) to support a highly technical advanced manufacturing operation in Long Beach, CA. This is a hands-on, lead-level position supporting day-to-day EHS activities across production, mechanical, and facility environments. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with hazardous waste and chemical safety, industrial equipment safety, regulatory compliance, and high-voltage electrical 'll Do:Manage hazardous metal and chemical waste programs, including labeling, storage, accumulation areas, inspections, manifesting, and vendor , water, waste streams, and sustainability , hoists, aerial lifts, and powered industrial , EPA, DOT, NFPA, and applicable industry , inventories, compliance submissions, and required , root cause analysis, and corrective action , including spills, evacuation drills, first aid, and electrical , permits, SDS files, inspection logs, and compliance , maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to identify hazards and implement corrective actions. Qualified:4 to 7+ years of EHS or related technical experience, preferably within aerospace, industrial manufacturing, or chemical handling , including RCRA, chemical safety, and environmental , hoists, aerial lifts, and powered industrial , technical documents, and applicable , communication, and organizational , recommend corrective actions, and lead daily EHS :OSHA 30HAZWOPER 40NFPA electrical safety trainingFirst Aid/CPR/AED or related EHS certificationsWork Environment: This position works across office, production, mechanical, and outdoor environments. Candidates must be comfortable working around hazardous chemicals, metal waste, noise, energized equipment, and industrial machinery while following required PPE and safety procedures. The position may require lifting up to 40 lbs. Pay: $46.00 to $58.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
