HR Manager
We are seeking an experienced and business-focused HR Manager to serve as the lead Human Resources partner for our manufacturing facility in Vancouver, Washington. In this critical role, you will be the site's primary HR advisor, employee relations expert, partnering closely with plant leadership, union representatives, and employees to foster a high-performing, compliant, and engaged workforce. As a key member of the factory leadership team, you will help shape the future of the organization by driving workforce strategy, strengthening labor-management partnerships, leading culture transformation initiatives, and fostering a high-performing, engaged workforce. You will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws while championing change management efforts that support operational excellence and business growth.
This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a dynamic unionized manufacturing environment, enjoys building trusted relationships, navigating complex employee and labor relations matters, strengthening labor-management partnerships, and leading culture transformation initiatives that enhance employee engagement, workforce performance, and organizational effectiveness. This position is located in Vancouver, WA and is primarily office-based. Occasional domestic travel (up to 10%) may be required. Tetra Pak is not considering applicants who require international relocation to the United States. We believe you have Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive HR Generalist or HR Leadership experience. Experience interpreting, administering, and applying Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs). Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment is preferred but not required. Experience supporting labor negotiations, grievance resolution, and labor-management committees is preferred but not required. Experience leading organizational change, culture transformation, and workforce engagement initiatives is preferred but not required. Strong employee relations, workplace investigation, and conflict resolution experience. Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance practices. Demonstrated ability to influence leaders, build trust, and drive business results through strong partnerships. Experience supporting change management, organizational development, and culture transformation initiatives. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Ability to influence leaders and employees at all levels. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Pay Equity
Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances.
Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $86,700.00-$123,800.00 USD Short-term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 10% of ABS Benefits: 401k company match, paid time off, paid holidays, Health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, Paid parental leave and much more!
