The Claims Recovery Case Specialist/Legal Assistant plays a central role within a recovery pod supporting health plans in subrogation and third-party liability (TPL) recovery efforts. You manage the day-to-day administration of insurance recovery caseskeeping files organized, documentation complete, and case statuses current so attorneys and senior paralegals can focus on negotiation and settlement with carriers and liability insurers.
This is a frontline insurance-operations role focused on responsiveness, communication, and execution. You will serve as a primary point of contact for inbound inquiries, coordinate with insurance carriers and attorneys, and ensure every health plan recovery case is properly documented and progressing toward resolution.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in insurance claims, payer operations, or healthcare billing who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy keeping complex claim portfolios moving forward.
