SCOPE OF WORK

2.1 Task 1 - Electrical CAD Design

The Subcontractor shall create and maintain electrical models, wiring diagrams, schematics, and panel layouts using project-approved CAD software.
CAD software may include AutoCAD Electrical, Autodesk Inventor, KiCad, and other software identified by client.
The Subcontractor shall review and revise designs based on engineering feedback, design reviews, and approved engineering changes.

2.2 Task 2 Manufacturing and Assembly Documentation

The Subcontractor shall generate bills of materials, wire and cable lists, and supporting documentation for manufacturing and assembly activities.
Documentation shall be prepared with sufficient detail to support the intended manufacturing, assembly, or installation activity.

2.3 Task 3 Engineering Coordination and Design Integration

The Subcontractor shall collaborate with electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, project managers, and other designated project personnel to ensure that designs meet technical requirements and integrate with applicable product assemblies.
The Subcontractor shall participate in design coordination and design-review activities as requested by the client's Technical Representative.

2.4 Task 4 Design Standards and Document Control

The Subcontractor shall perform assigned work in accordance with applicable industry standards, codes, and internal quality requirements identified by client.
The Subcontractor shall maintain organized design files, libraries, and revision-controlled documentation within Windchill or other client-designated systems

Depending upon the authorized scope, deliverables may include, but are not limited to:
Electrical CAD models
Electrical schematics
Wiring diagrams
Panel layouts
Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Wire and cable schedules
Manufacturing and assembly documentation
Engineering drawing revisions
Revision-controlled design documentation
Design packages supporting fabrication, assembly, testing, or installation
Other engineering documentation necessary to support ALS-U Project execution

Required Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Drafting/Design, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience producing electrical CAD designs using Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD Electrical, KiCad, or equivalent software.
Demonstrated experience developing manufacturing-ready electrical documentation, including electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and wire or cable schedules.
Experience developing and maintaining revision-controlled engineering documentation within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
Working knowledge of electrical engineering principles, electrical components, schematic development, and wiring practices.
Familiarity with applicable industry standards and codes relevant to electrical design activities.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting DOE national laboratories, research facilities, particle accelerators, or other complex scientific or industrial engineering projects.

Experience using Autodesk Inventor for three-dimensional electrical or electromechanical design.
Experience integrating electrical and mechanical CAD models.
Experience using Windchill for engineering document and configuration management.
Experience supporting fabrication, assembly, installation, or commissioning of complex engineered systems.
