Job ID 23599 – Accounts Receivable Operations Specialist (Tier II)
Location: Rochester, NY 14623 – This position is hyrid
Tuesday and Thursdays are onsite
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Type: Long term contract (c. April 2027)
Schedule: M-F, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST
Start date: Target Aug 17, 2026
Job description:
- Performs financial and accounting duties, including reviewing, coding, and entering transactions into financial systems to maintain accurate sub-ledger and general ledger data.
- Researches, reconciles, and analyzes financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established accounting controls and quality standards.
- Responds to inquiries via email, mail, and phone while maintaining departmental service and quality standards.
- Prepares and provides financial reports to leadership, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company policies and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
- Supports department operations by participating in team meetings, training and cross-training employees, and reviewing and updating procedures to improve accuracy and consistency.
