About the Role:
We're looking for a curious, driven, and growth-oriented Junior AI Developer to join our expanding AI team.
This isn't just another development role. You'll gain hands-on experience with the C3 AI Platform, build scalable AI applications, develop data-driven solutions, and collaborate with experienced engineers and data scientists who are eager to help you grow.

What You'll Be Working On
As a Junior AI Developer, you'll contribute to a variety of AI and software initiatives designed to create measurable business value.

Your journey will include:

• Exploring and developing solutions on the C3 AI Platform, including data modeling, the C3 Type System, and enterprise-grade application development.
• Assisting in the design, testing, deployment, and optimization of AI and Machine Learning models across multiple technology platforms.
• Developing robust applications and integrations using Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript, supporting APIs, business logic, and AI services.
• Building and maintaining data pipelines that transform raw industrial and enterprise data into actionable insights.
• Creating AI-powered tools and features that empower operational teams and business users to make smarter decisions.
• Collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to transform ideas and requirements into scalable solutions.
• Contributing to cloud-native development projects leveraging platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Participating in code reviews, testing, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives that strengthen engineering excellence.
• Continuously expanding your technical expertise through real-world projects, mentorship, and exposure to cutting-edge AI technologies.

What Makes You a Great Fit
Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• Proficiency in Python with the ability to develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript and enthusiasm for modern development frameworks
• Understanding of SQL, relational databases, and data management fundamentals
• Familiarity with REST APIs and application integrations
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design fundamentals
• Basic exposure to Machine Learning concepts through academics, projects, certifications, or self-learning
• Strong willingness to learn enterprise AI platforms, cloud technologies, and modern engineering practices
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for technology-driven innovation

Bonus Points If You Have
Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to C3 AI or other enterprise AI/ML platforms
• Experience with ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• Familiarity with cloud environments including AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Understanding of Data Engineering concepts such as ETL, orchestration, and data ingestion
• Experience using Git and awareness of CI/CD workflows
• Exposure to Databricks, Apache Spark, or large-scale data processing technologies
• Academic or project experience involving time-series, IoT, or industrial datasets
• Interest in manufacturing, industrial technology, and smart factory innovations
• Previous internship, research, co-op, or project experience in software development, analytics, or AI

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
