Senor Oracle ETL DeveloperPosition Type: Full time, Hybrid Onsite Contract --- (***Hybrid Position – 3 days onsite and 2 days remote work in a week!!!)Duration: 12-18 Months contractLocation: Jersey City, NJ 07302 Job Description:Need a Strong Oracle & ETL developer (expert) who can design scalable solutions, optimize performance, and troubleshoot complex production issues independently.
Owns deliverables end-to-end, from requirements and development through testing, deployment, support, and data lineage compliance.
Excellent problem solver and communicator who can bridge technical implementation with business and regulatory reporting requirements
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:• Oracle Exadata, SQL, PL/SQL
(7-10 years experience) with strong hands-on development experience.
• ETL/Data Warehousing design and development for large-volume data processing.
• Expertise in Star Schema, Data Partitioning, Data Compression, Direct Path Loads.
• Strong knowledge of SQL performance tuning using:• Explain Plan
• SQL Trace
• TKPROF
• AUTOTRACE
• AWR Reports
• Solid understanding of Oracle Architecture, including:• SGA & PGA memory structures
• Oracle server processes
• Query optimization
• Knowledge of Oracle VPD (Virtual Private Database).
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in production environments.
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
Required Soft Skills:• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to perform both technical and functional analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with business stakeholders to understand reporting and data requirements.
• Strong ownership and accountability for production support and issue resolution.

• Regulatory Reporting experience (highly desirable), particularly liquidity, risk, finance, or banking regulatory projects.
• Experience with Python for automation, data processing, and ETL enhancements.
• Knowledge of Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and scheduling.
• Experience working with Containers (e.g., Docker/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, Git, and automated deployment practices.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
• Experience implementing reconciliation, exception handling, and audit controls in data pipelines.
• Exposure to metadata-driven ETL frameworks or reusable data integration platforms.
• Experience with Tableau or other enterprise reporting and analytics tools.
• Financial services or banking domain knowledge, especially around Liquidity Reporting (LCR, NSFR, FR2052a, ILST) and data lineage requirements.

1. What are the daily responsibilities and/or priorities?• Design, develop, and maintain batch/ETL interfaces using the organization's metadata-driven framework.
• Support and troubleshoot existing ETL processes, including production issue resolution and root cause analysis.
• Develop and optimize Oracle SQL/PLSQL code for large-volume data processing on Exadata.
• Perform SQL performance tuning using AWR, Explain Plan, TKPROF, SQL Trace, and related tools.
• Maintain data lineage and end-to-end traceability for ETL changes.
• Implement liquidity reporting derivations and regulatory reporting data transformations.
• Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and CI/CD deployment activities.
2. Who will be regular points of contact?• LIBRA Interface Team developers and technical leads.
• Liquidity reporting business analysts and SMEs.
• Production support and infrastructure teams.
• QA/testing teams for validation and release activities.
• Project managers, Scrum Masters, and regulatory reporting stakeholders.
3. Does the role involve client interactions?• Primarily an internal-facing role.
• Regular interaction with business users, liquidity reporting SMEs, and regulatory project stakeholders.
• Limited direct external client interaction unless assigned to specific regulatory or business initiatives.

• Reduced processing time for large-volume ETL jobs.
