As the Web Merchandiser at Hill's Pet Nutrition, you will own the end-to-end execution and optimization of our digital shopping experience. Your core mission is to create a seamless, high-converting digital ecosystem by driving findability, frictionless engagement, and customer loyalty across our digital channels. In this role, you will bridge the gap between user behavior and business growthcombining data-driven insights with strategic execution to optimize site taxonomy, cross-sell/upsell opportunities, and dynamic customer journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ecosystem Optimization: Manage site taxonomy, click-flow navigation, attribution, and on-site traffic to maximize findability and conversion.
- Testing & Personalization: Plan and execute A/B testing and cross-sell/upsell strategies to elevate customer lifetime value and brand loyalty.
- Data & Performance Tracking: Monitor, analyze, and report on quantitative and qualitative web behavior to uncover actionable insights.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to bring high-impact digital campaigns to life on schedule.
- Product Information Management: Ongoing optimization, monitoring, and refinement of our product data for our owned web properties, working without our PIM/DAM system.
- Site Merchandising Tactics: Continuous execution to support various campaign objectives, overall health and accuracy of site content, and collision testing for broken site experiences across our consumer properties.
- Site Usability Enhancements: Increase conversion and improve the overall customer journey experience.
- Strategic Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine how to continuously optimize digital engagement experiences through utilization of UX and CX design principles.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- Data-Driven Mindset: 3+ years translating web analytics into clear, strategic growth initiatives.
- Technical & Platform Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, CMS, PIM, and DAM platforms.
Preferred Requirements:
- Frontend Familiarity: Solid understanding of UX/CX best practices alongside working knowledge of basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Fostering Experimentation - Remaining curious
- Teamwork/Collaboration - required or dependent on other functions to align on tests and collaborate with other team members
- Analysis/Decision Making - gaining insights from the data that is pulled.
Compensation and Benefits Salary Range $96,000.00 - $137,000.00 USD Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles. Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
