The Business Development Manager role is responsible for scaling a book of enterprise partners, and driving topline revenue growth for TikTok's US Commerce business.

Responsibilities:

• Deeply understand the global e?commerce business and, through data analysis, market research and business insights, identify industry growth opportunities and key issues, and develop actionable industry operation strategies.
• Build and continuously optimize industry operating mechanisms, including target cascading, process management, strategy tracking, resource allocation and business reviews, to drive growth.
• Lead industry growth initiatives around merchants, assortment and content to improve GMV, supply quality and operational efficiency.
• Enable industry operation teams by improving capabilities in merchant growth, assortment operations and resource effectiveness, and improve overall business management and results.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience in global e?commerce, business analysis or industry/segment operations;
• Strong business acumen and deep understanding of global e?commerce; able to independently run business analysis, strategy design and growth opportunity assessment.
• Strong ownership and results?oriented mindset; problem?solver who can collaborate across teams to drive projects to execution and deliver impact.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Quick learner, proactive and resilient. Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adjust fast to change.
• Structured and original thinking, good data sense, analytical skills and judgment capability.
• Large internet platform or top consulting experience is a plus.

Compensation Description (Annually): The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $115520 - $258400 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
