About the Role:

As an Occupational Therapist at Avir at Del Sol, you will be responsible for designing and implementing personalized treatment plans to help patients develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and work. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and functional abilities to identify areas of strength and weakness
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' unique needs and goals
• Implement a variety of evidence-based occupational therapy interventions, including but not limited to:
+ Functional activities and exercises
+ Adaptive equipment and technology
+ Cognitive retraining and compensatory strategies
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to establish and achieve treatment goals
• Participate in regular team meetings and communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation

Requirements:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license and certification in the state of Texas
• 0 years of experience in occupational therapy (new graduates welcome!)
