AlphaBEST Education SUBSTITUTE Group LeaderVarious Elementary schools within the Norman Public School DistrictThis position will run from August 10, 2026, to September 11, 2026 (dates subject to change)AM shift 6:30 AM - 8:00 am and/or PM shift Mon-Fri 2:30 pm - 6:00 pmLooking to gain leadership experience while you're in school?AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment.As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you'll help shape meaningful after-school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive. You'll gain valuable experience working with children and collaborating with a team.We're looking for an early learning professional who:Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environmentTakes child safety seriously and follows procedures closelyIs flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever neededIn this role, you will:Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)Make child safety the top priority at all timesKeep the space clean and organizedHelp create an environment where kids feel supported and includedBuild strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staffThis role is ideal for students studying:EducationChild DevelopmentPsychologySocial WorkRecreation or Youth DevelopmentRequirements:High School diploma or equivalent requiredCPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain)Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)Minimum one year of child care experience in a classroom setting.Ability to work Mon-Fri 2:30 pm - 6:00 pmWhy Join Us?At AlphaBEST, we believe in boosting your potential.
