Mill Creek Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable and experienced Cook to join our dietary team in Winston-Salem, NC. We have Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities available for someone who takes pride in preparing nutritious, high-quality meals and providing excellent service to our residents.
6:00 AM – 1:00 PM
1:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN positions available
Weekend availability required

Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus, recipes, and residents' dietary needs
Accurately prepare meals for residents with special diets and dietary restrictions
Follow proper food preparation, storage, and handling procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and work area
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection-control guidelines
Comply with applicable state and facility dietary regulations
Ensure meals are prepared and served accurately and on time
Work cooperatively with the dietary and nursing teams
Maintain a friendly, respectful, and helpful attitude toward residents and coworkers
Previous cooking or food service experience preferred
ServSafe or food service sanitation certification preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to follow recipes, menus, and dietary instructions
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Ability to work well with others and contribute to a positive team environment
Commitment to providing quality service to residents
