Job Title: Social Worker Profession: LMSW Specialty: Social Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 32 Experience: 1+ years License: Masters Degree Certifications: Licensed Must-Have Skills/Experience: Critical thinking and problem solving Time management Crisis intervention Communication skills Description: This position is responsible for providing social work services in a hospital-based setting. The role requires working collaboratively with a diverse patient population, focusing on adults and geriatric patients. Key responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and providing crisis intervention when necessary. The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassion, empathy, and adaptability in challenging situations. Candidates should have strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. This position does not have float requirements but will require weekend hours on an every-other-weekend basis. Candidates must possess a Master's degree and be licensed to practice as a social worker. The work environment requires a professional appearance, adhering to a dress code of scrubs or casual business attire, excluding blue jeans.
