Responsibilities
We are looking for a dependable Cashier
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases using POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions efficiently.
• Manage cash handling accurately, including cash, credit/debit card payments, and refunds.
• Provide product demonstrations and up sell items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance.
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented.
• Offer excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely.
• Support retail sales efforts through effective communication, product knowledge sharing, and promoting ongoing promotions or specials.
• Assist with inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and inventory counts to ensure product availability.
Requirements
• Prior experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively and professionally.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for team collaboration.
• Ability to perform retail math calculations quickly and accurately during busy periods.
• Excellent phone etiquette, customer service orientation, and a proactive attitude toward upselling and merchandising tasks.
